We send our  sincerest condolences to the Winston, Brown and Martin family (my family). We have so many thoughts and emotions, in regards to Charles transitioning to heaven.  I was reviewing Charles's obituary, and I couldn't just read it without saying something.  I met Charles when I was about 10 or 11, in Scott,, he was living with The Brown family.  My grandmother lived in Scott, AR  as well; on the main highway, and they lived behind my grandmother.  Alfred  (Toot) said that Charles, was one of the first people he met when he moved to N.Little Rock in 1987 and they have been friends every since.  I would like to share a personal memory that I have of Charles.  "My mother passed Sept 6, 2019, after Charles heard of the her death, he came by our house (Alfred & I) everyday and sat with Alfred , and was very  adamant on being a pallbearer for my mother's service.  HIs act of kindness and service was greatly  appreciated! May God give the family comfort, peace, strength and healing!! :Alfred (Toot), Kawanda (Kay) and Tyrone...

BALDHEAD..... I prayed so hard everyday that you would wake up,  I never thought I would be seeing your face on a Obituary, you are a man of grace, respect, loyalty, strength but most of all LOVE.  You left your mark on this earth and I am forever grateful for everything you did for me and my children. You always made sure to make me feel like family and I appreciate you for that. I seen you days before you were admitted to the hospital in Kroger I never knew that was the last time you would hug me and ask if I was ok. No more pain or suffering you will forever live on in our hearts. This devastated me but to know you are with the Lord bring peace and serenity to us all. Keep smiling, laughing and meddling like you always have.

To the family, there are no words that will comfort the lost of the leader of the family. Keep y'all heads up and take care of and love on Joann.
