Edward "Cripp" Marrero

Edward "Cripp" Marrero was born October 01, 1962, to the late Yvette L. Stevenson and Edward William of New Orleans, LA.

On Friday, February 16th, God sent Angels to carry home one of his children, Edward Marrero, to his final place of rest. He will be greeted by his brothers: Harold Stevenson Jr., Donald Stevenson, Richard Stevenson, John J. Stevenson, and Nathaniel Stevenson.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters: Darlene Stevenson- Clark (of New Orleans) and Christine Stevenson (of Atlanta, GA) and goddaughter Brendae' Farmer (of Little Rock), and a host of family and friends that loved him dearly.

Edward was the oldest of 8 children. He had a captivating personality that drew people close to him and had the most handsome eyes to match. He loved his family & friends wholeheartedly and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could. His smile was contagious, and his jokes could keep one laughing all day. He is a true definition of a friend. Edward "Cripp" will truly be missed by many. Visitation February 22, 2024 5:00-7:00 pm. Homegoing celebration February 23, 2024 11:00 am.
