Obituary

Jewell Young, 80 of North Little Rock peacefully departed the flesh on Monday, June 19th, 2023, in Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by: her parents Oscar & Amelia Laster, and brother Leroy Laster. She was a long-time member of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband Robert Young, two sons, Jerry Young (Dionne) of Jackson, MS., Anton Young (Tonja) of Little Rock. Five brothers: Pleaze (Barbara) and John Laster both of England, Oscar Laster (Pearl) of Little Rock, Alfred Bowers (Thelma) of Jacksonville, and Charles Bowers of Little Rock. Five sisters: Essie Rivers of Chicago, IL., Dorothy West of Lonoke, Celestine Farmer of England, Florice Davis of Killeen, TX., and Wanda (Sammy) Northern of Jacksonville. Sister-in-law: Lillie Laster of England. Eight grandchildren, Eight great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The Family would like to thank everyone for their support during this time.
