Joyce “Ree” Marie Freeman was born September 5, 1954 in Humnoke, AR to Douglas and Addie Jimerson Clingmon. She was the fourth of twelve children. She gained her Heavenly wings on April 6, 2023. Ree accepted Christ at an early age at Traveler’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Humnoke, AR. Anyone that knew Joyce knows she was a devoted mother and loved her children and grandchildren. She was known for her sense of humor, hard work ethic, and for her cooking. Joyce is now reunited with her loving parents-the late Douglas and Addie Clingmon, her grandparents Alma McKinney and John Jimerson, and her big brothers, James Lee and Douglas Clingmon, Jr. Just ten short months ago, she lost the love of her life, her husband of 48 years, Cleveland Earl Freeman, Sr. She leaves a great legacy behind, one son, Cleveland Earl, Jr. (Teresa) Freeman, one daughter, Nikki N. Freeman of Irving, TX, and her stepdaughter, Tomeka (Charles) Jackson, of Pine Bluff. She is survived by her 9 sisters, Jessie (Jeff) Smith, Jewel (Emanuel) Jones, Annie (Willie, Sr.) Dockery, Loretta (Robert) Dockery, Betty (J.C.) McCoy, Alma Richard, Mae (Gilbert) Avery, Douglas Louise Clingmon, and Marilyn (John) Lee and her two brothers Edward Clingmon and Therman Sr. (Brenda) Clingmon and one aunt, Linda Hampton. Also 7 beautiful grandchildren, Nautica, Earl, Treyvon, Aiden, Khristopher, Riley, and Dedric Surratt, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
