Oscar Laster Jr. 84 of Little Rock entered into eternal rest on Saturday March 8, 2025. Oscar was born February 17, 1941 in England, Arkansas. Oscar retired from Remington Arms in Lonoke, Arkansas, co-owner of Superior Funeral Services North Little Rock, Arkansas, and a Deacon at First Baptist Highland Park Little Rock, Arkansas. Oscar loved sports, farming, working in his garden, and helping others. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar Sr. and Amelia Laster, siblings: Leroy, Pleaze, Alfred, and Jewel. Loving memories left to wife of 64 years Pearlie Laster, children: Oscar Laster III, Darron Laster (Garby), Gregory Laster Sr. (Teresa), and Deborah Romes (Rod), siblings: John, Charles, Celestene, Dorothy Jean, Wanda Jean, Florece, and Essie Mae. 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 future great grandchild. Oscar will lie in state Friday March 14, 2025 1-5 pm at Superior. Homegoing Celebration Saturday March 15, 2025 11:00 am at First Baptist Highland Park 1701 S. Pine Street Little Rock.
