Shirley Fudge Obituary

Shirley Jean Fudge, 78, of England, AR, peacefully passed away at sunset, on November 2, 2024, surrounded by loving family. Shirley was born November 4, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, Condolus Fudge, Sr. & Eddie Cheeks Fudge. Her son and only child, infant Anthony Lynell Scott. Sisters, Mrs. Ruth Fudge Boatwright and Mrs. Vashti Fudge Baker. And brothers, infant John Authur Fudge and Condolus Fudge, Jr.
While a teenager, Shirley accepted our Lord and Savior, uniting with the Springfield Baptist Church in Scott, Arkansas. In life, she was passionate about craft making, fishing, cooking, and her specialty, making banana nut bread. So spent the latter half of her career on the staffs of Desert View Elementary and Lincoln Elementary in Lancaster, California, as lead dietitian, planning meals for hundreds of children and school staff, until her retirement in 1995, when she returned home to her family in Little Rock, Scott & England, Arkansas.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, sisters, Mrs. Naomi Fudge Boykin and Mrs. Marva Ann Fudge Roquemore, both of Little Rock, AR. And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation: Friday, November 15, 3-5 p.m., Celebration of Life: Saturday, November 16, at 11:00 a.m. Both at Superior Funeral Services 5017 E.
