Yolonda Tenpenny Pearson

Yolonda Renee Tenpenny-Pearson, age 51, peacefully departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born on January 24, 1971, to loving parents Samuel, Sr. & Evelyn Tenpenny.
Yolonda was a 1989 graduate of Wilbur D. Mills High School. She was preceded in death by her brother Samuel (Bud) Tenpenny, Jr., and nephew, Altee Tenpenny.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons; Tremayne (Darielle) Pearson and Kendrick Pearson, her daughter; TaJayda Buie, grandchildren; Cardagan, Hicks, Jr. and Tamara Scott, her parents; Samuel, Sr. & Evelyn Tenpenny, her sister; Tamela (Judious) Tenpenny-Lewis, her brother; Derek (Tamara) Tenpenny. She leaves her nieces; Alleshia Garrett, Shayla Tenpenny, Taylor Lewis, Syann Tenpenny, and her nephews; Tymire Lewis and Lee Shepherd. Yolonda also leaves her aunts; Linda Thompson, Leola Scoggins, Jeanetta Mills, Barbara Tenpenny, and Billie Jean tenpenny, uncles: Apostle Dennis Newsome, Billy Tompson, and Nathaniel Green, and her Goddaughters; BraShuna Young, Ray’Von Dismuke and many other family members, and friends. She was a caring 2nd mother to so many young people who will truly miss her.
As a 5-time cancer survivor, Yolonda was a founding and dedicated member of the “Survivor Sisters”, a faith-based cancer survivor group. She used her testimony to help countless others.
A celebration of Yolonda’s life will begin with a visitation on Friday, August 12, 2022, 6-8 p.m. and her homegoing service on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Place of Harvest Church, 6401 West 32nd St, Little Rock, AR 72204. Interment will be at Rest in Peace Cemetery, Hensley, AR.
