To the family,
We send our condolences. When a loved one dies, the pain can seem unending and the grief unbearable. May the family find comfort and hope in the promises made by "Jehovah, the God of all comfort and the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."(2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Jehovah is the "Source" of all life. (Psalms 36:9) He did not create humans to get sick or to die. He hates death he calls it "the last enemy." (1 Corinthians 15:26) Because death is an enenmy Jehovah made an arrangement to do away with it. His Son Christ Jesus is a Key figure in that arrangement. That arrangement reveals much about the great love and mercy that Jehovah has for mankind. "For God loved the world so much he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him [in the ransom arrangement] might not be destroyed, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16) Although the death of your dear loved one is painful, there is hope. Jehovah, through his Son Christ Jesus, says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which "all" those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out!"(John 5:28; John 11:43) To learn what it means to "exercising faith" and to learn how Jehovah will end sickness and death, please visit: www.JW.org and click on "Bible Teachings" then click on "Bible Questions Answered."

Words cannot began to express my sorrow in hearing of the passing of your father. Know that you and your family are in my prayers as well as thoughts. I lift you up in prayer during this time. My prayers are that God covers you and your family during this time and you draw upon his strength to sustain you.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4
