To the family,
We send our condolences. No stress is greater than that resulting in the loss of a beloved mate. May you find comfort in knowing that there is One who truly knows how you feel. His name is "Jehovah, the God of all comfort and the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."(2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Matthew 3:17; John 10:36; Isaiah 42:5,8; Exodus 6:2,3) Jehovah is the "Source" of all life. (Psalms 36:9; Isaiah 42:5;8) He did not create humans to get sick or to die. He created humans with the desire to live forever. To prove this he put "eternity" in our hearts. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Jehovah hates death, he calls it "the last enemy."(1 Corinthians 15:26) Since death was never part of Jehovah's purpose he made an arrangement to do away with it. His Son Christ Jesus is a Key figure in that arrangement. That arrangement reveal much about the great love and mercy that Jehovah has for mankind. "For God loved the world so much he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone "exercising faith" in him [in the ransom] might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."(John 3:16) Bettye, Tiger, Tonya, Quaslin, Jehovah knows that your tears and pain are the understandable consequences of a great loss. Regarding the death of dear Dub, Jehovah, through his Son Christ Jesus, says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when "all" those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus'] voice and come out!"(John 5:28) He says: "Many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up."(Daniel 12:2) He says: "Your dead will live...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life."(Isaiah 26:19) To learn how Jehovah will end sickness and death, and what you must do to see your dead loved one restored back to life on a paradise earth, please visit: www.JW.org and click on "Bible Teachings" then click on "Bible Questions Answered." So sorry for your loss. Just heard of Dubs passing on Sunday. You are in my prayers. May God continue to bless you at this difficult time.
